Luceplan
Established in 1978, Luceplan realizes the idea of three architects, Riccardo Sarfatti, Paolo Rizzatto and Sandra Severi, who wanted to consolidate the experience developed during their long collaboration with Gino Sarfatti, founder of Arteluce. He was an acclaimed experimenter and innovator in the lighting industry. These are the noble roots, but the story we wish to tell does not follow a chronological sequence of events in the growth of society, but rather "highlights" the constants in its evolution. A history marked by constant factors well defined from the beginning - experimentation, research and quality, by a philosophy centered on the creation of "beautiful objects for the general public" and by an attitude, a discreet refinement that has never been lost over time. years. This is the mark left on lighting fixtures that were not designed for a short-lived marvel, but to be the natural outlet for a continuous and continuous push dedicated to the essence of each project, meticulous attention to detail and constant improvement. . The result of this coherent experimentation which in turn implies a qualified technological research. Passion for design and entrepreneurial courage, is a commitment of Luceplan, both with a significant investment in production - the new brand Elementi di Luceplan, a line of technical, architectural and contract lighting fixtures that was established in 2006 - and in the marketing. It has opened new international branches (Copenhagen joins New York, Paris and Berlin) and more self-brand stores (there are three flagship stores in Milan, New York and Paris and around 2,000 points of sale worldwide). In May 2010 Luceplan joined the Philips Lighting Consumer Business business.
