TWILS. DESIGN AWARDS - WINNER 2021 ARCHIPRODUCTS. Armchair mod. Polet. Design: Achille Castiglioni 1992. There are armchairs that transform into beds. Polet is a bed that becomes an armchair. Or, rather, a throne, with its backrest so high that it makes it a delightfully ironic and functional piece of furniture, born not by chance thirty years ago from the genius of Achille Castiglioni. Simple gestures are life changing. It is a piece of furniture that adapts to what we need and that makes us feel at home. Castiglioni designed Polet to open and close with extreme naturalness, as if it were a deck chair.
